New computer system will improve patient experience

We wanted to let you know that at the beginning of July the practice is having a new computer system.  The current system came with us from the old practice and we thought it was robust enough for our new premises, however now we are over three floors we have found this not to be the case.

The tracking of letters, medical forms, and prescriptions has been a challenge; sadly patients and staff have both suffered.  So we felt enough is enough and asked the Coastal West Sussex CCG to support our request to change the system.  It is an exciting change for us and one that we are all looking forward to as we think it will improve efficiency, for example it will really help in tracking where a prescription is.

Our on-line services will I am afraid be effected during this change but we will try and keep disruption to a minimum, currently there is no disruption to these services.  Please do continue to look at this website for updated information.

From 1st April patients around the country should be having on-line access to some of their medical records; however because of the changeover in systems, access for our patients will be delayed until after mid-July.
